A high quality 120-bed new boarding house under a Design & Build contract with two stage procurement, Winchester College Boarding House is designed with passive house principles, and aspirations of achieving a BREEAM Excellent rating.
The project is highly complex in terms of constraints and sensitivity, as it is surrounded by listed buildings. The boarding house features cross-laminated timber construction, a key component of sustainable construction suitable in numerous sectors, which requires innovation, experience and knowledge in the field to understand the methodology required in its successful delivery. The project is currently under planning.
