The NT Deck

A new lightweight prefabricated rooftop pavilion for the National Theatre.

The NT Deck was designed to become the permanent replacement for a previous, temporary events space on the roof of the National Theatre, South Bank. The prefabricated structure features an insulated timber frame, constructed off-site and lifted into place, allowing for a non-invasive installation process.

The project has been very well received by both the client and patrons, and has reduced energy loads while providing an elevated space with iconic views across London for meetings, conferences, and entertaining events - all-year-round at the National Theatre.
