A multi-phased project at Reynardon Court in Haringey involves the initial refurbishment of 16 existing apartments, which is currently under planning, with aspirations of improving the residential development to meet modern-day sustainability standards. The project includes the over-cladding of the façade, the installation of air-source heat pumps, and a complete refurbishment. A carbon reduction strategy addresses thermal efficiency, renewing services, and providing new infrastructure.
The second phase will provide 18 high-quality homes featuring a fully passive house accredited design – a first for the borough and a benchmark project for the council. The communal area to the rear of Reynardson Court is set to be extended and improved to provide a shared space with the new building, which will include a new children’s play space, landscaping, new cycle stores, and secure entrances.
