Two build-to-rent schemes delivered for Newham's housing company.

We were engaged on two schemes for the London Borough of Newham’s housing development arm, Populo Living. Pier Road in North Woolwich features 348 build-to-rent units, 900m² of retail, roof terraces, and landscaping, and was delivered up until RIBA Stage 3 Planning, while Project Cyprus in Beckton is comprised of 237 build-to-rent units featuring roof terraces and landscaping, and was taken up until RIBA Stage 2.

The developments ensure the provision of much-needed housing, as well as other community benefits such as creative studios and cafés. The proposals were each shaped by community engagement prior to planning applications being submitted to LB Newham.
