Marlborough Sports Garden

A state-of-the-art mixed sports facility focused on the needs of local children and young people.

We were engaged to work on the final phase of the Marlborough Sports Garden for client Bankside Open Spaces Trust (BOST). The public realm project aims to support the health and well-being of local residents, creating sustainable, well-designed community spaces. The project is developed to provide a state-of-the-art mixed sports facility focused on the needs of local children and young people, making it easier for them to exercise and develop a love for sports.

A new entrance, events, café and training building are features of the new upgrades, however a key component of the project is the ambition of the client to apply circular economy thinking to the proposals, engaging local young people to become involved in all stages of the project.
