Generator Hostels/ Freehand Hotels

Generator / Freehand are an international company which operate in the hospitality sector with a service offering ranging from youth hostels across Europe to 4-star hotels in North America.

Bristow Consulting have worked alongside Generator / Freehand in supporting various acquisitions, allowing them to develop their already iconic brand. Bristow’s support has also been integral in the redevelopment in a number of their existing properties, both in Europe and North America.

Generator / Freehand are in the midst of undergoing a number of key redevelopments of their properties. Their Amsterdam property, which has recently been earmarked for historical status, has had a complete redevelopment of the basement to increase their capacity to 600+ bed hostel. Works were carried out under a single-stage Contract with Bristow providing both pre and post Contract project management services.

Berlin has been at the heart of the Generator brand, home to three different venues. Bristow have been deeply involved in the revitalisation of these locations, including running the tender process for the Mitte project, and offering pre-contract consulting services for the Prenzlauer Berg location
