Bedford Hospital

Several upgrades delivered to the hospital over a period of more than 15 years.

Working alongside Bedford Hospital to manage a number of upgrades and refurbishment projects, we were engaged in the roles of Cost, Procurement and Risk Management for a series of brand new outpatient departments and facilities. These included new cancer and maternity wards, new ancillary medical facilities, waiting areas and the main plant room of the hospital.

An MRI refurbishment project resulted in the upgrade and transformation of century-old buildings to become homes for modern, state-of-the-art imaging facilities, housing a new 1.5T MRI and support accommodation. In addition to the new MRI facility, a new IT department was also delivered as part of the wider upgrade.
